Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Lapi, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use Lapi on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these terms for it.
2. The service
Lapi is a test-preparation platform offering practice questions, adaptive testing, AI-generated feedback, study plans, and tutoring tools for exams such as SAT, AP, GMAT, IELTS, and TOEFL. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Lapi.
4. Subscriptions and billing
Some features require a paid subscription. Prices are shown before purchase and billed through our payment providers. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current period except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no sharing accounts, scraping content, attempting to access other users' data, circumventing usage limits, using the platform to cheat on real examinations, or uploading unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these rules.
6. AI-generated content
Parts of Lapi (question generation, essay scoring, chat tutoring, score predictions) are powered by artificial intelligence. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for study purposes only — it is not a guarantee of any real exam result.
7. Intellectual property
Lapi and its content (excluding content you submit) are owned by Lapi Inc. and protected by law. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for personal, non-commercial study. You retain rights to essays and other content you submit, and grant us a license to process it to provide the service.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Upon deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lapi Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
